Lawmaker faces scrutiny for ties to gambling trip probe, slots bill

TALLAHASSEE - Senate President Tom Lee said Wednesday he will let a senator who was the beneficiary of a $48,000 gambling industry junket to Canada handle legislation in an upcoming special session that will authorize slot machines in Broward County.
