PokerPro Gains Quick Adoption in Casinos
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina - Riding the huge wave of poker popularity, PokerTek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PTEK) has installed its PokerPro(TM) tables at four additional casinos in the months of October and November.

Interesting gambling facts:
- French mathematician Blaise Pascale is often credited with inventing the roulette wheel as a result of his experiments with perpetual motion machines.
- At land-based casinos, both the player and the boxman need to be on the lookout for crooked dice in the game of craps. Each number when added together with the number on the side opposite it, will add up to 7. For example, 6 is opposite to 1. When the dice are crooked, they do not add up to 7.
- Gambling became legalized in Vegas in 1931 by Mayme V. Stocker and J.H. Morgan who was issued Clark County Gaming License No. 1.
- By the 18th and 19th centuries a dice game called Hazard had become popular in England and was played by the aristocracy in private gambling houses.
