Inspector for casino boats catches flak
Safety inspections for Iowas permanently moored riverboat casinos are now conducted by a former U.S. Coast Guard commander who was recommended to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources by the Iowa Gaming Association, a pro-gambling lobbying group.
