Raising the stakes in gambling battle
City Councilman Glenn Watson is hedging his bets that major video gambling halls could soon set up shop in Huntsville. So he’s pushing a measure that would sharply raise privilege license fees for businesses that have more than eight so-called sweepstakes video gaming machines.
