Aztar Gets Sweetened Ameristar Bid
Casino operator Aztar Corp. said it has received a sweetened buyout offer of about $1.71 billion from Ameristar Casinos Inc. and determined this latest bid represents a superior proposal to Aztar’s current agreement with Pinnacle Entertainment Inc.
