Gambling Machines, $25,000 Seized By Police In Raid Late Friday Night
About a dozen electronic gambling machines were seized when a search warrant was served about 11 p.m. Friday at a former vacuum cleaner store on West Main Street.

- U.S. News and World Report did a comparison of crime rates in cities with gambling versus those that do not. The crime rates were significantly higher in the places that allowed gambling.
