ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - A successful casino executive whose career disintegrated over his gambling addiction took another step in his rehabilitation Wednesday, with New Jersey gambling regulators clearing him to become a vice president for Resorts Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Hilton.
The state House agreed Wednesday to place more restrictions on campaign donations made in cash and to require the release of the names of some people who contribute smaller amounts.
He called it being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Last week, Councilman Ludye Wallace found himself in the middle of a police raid. The incident had nothing to do with him, but he ended up being cited for gambling.
