London lower as online gambling stocks slump
London equity market ended lower on Monday as online gaming stocks plunged after the boss of BetOnSports was detained in the US. While the reason for Mr Carruthers detention remained unclear, the legal status of online gambling remains an issue in the US, where the House of Representatives last week approved a measure to crack down on web gambling.
