Film director Badham’s book full of behind-the-camera interaction
John Badham was in Macon, Ga., directing his first feature film, “The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings.” It was a searing, 100-degree day, and his star, Richard Pryor, was in Badham’s face demanding an apology or else he was going to walk off the set and fly back to Los Angeles.
