Online Casino Hub to be found in Singapore at online casino news and casinos update
During the Asian Casinos Executive Summit, which to place this week, the Singapore News Today commented that Singapore will hopefully become an online casino hub for the region, with two major land-based casinos in the works, and the possibility of the country issuing online casino gaming licenses as well.

- By the 18th and 19th centuries a dice game called Hazard had become popular in England and was played by the aristocracy in private gambling houses.
- Gambling became legalized in Vegas in 1931 by Mayme V. Stocker and J.H. Morgan who was issued Clark County Gaming License No. 1.
- As early as 1420, lotteries were used in Europe for public works. High-value commodities such as land and art were often sold through lotteries.
- Legal gambling operations in Washington reported $1.7 billion in net receipts in 2005: 61 percent was reported by tribal casinos, 10 percent came from the state lottery. 2 percent of responders in a February state survey said they placed bets online.
