Gabrieli would legalize casino gambling to ease state property tax burden

BOSTON — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Chris Gabrieli proposed yesterday to legalize casino gambling in Massachusetts as a means of raising revenue that can be sent back to cities and towns and reduce pressure to increase property taxes.
