Ex-trooper admits running betting ring
His thinning hair in a buzz cut, his massive shoulders sagging in a suit one size too big, a former state trooper on Thursday admitted to running a multimillion-dollar sports-betting ring and said he will implicate his co-defendants, including the former professional hockey player Rick Tocchet.
