Porter to Visit England to Study Internet Gambling Regulation
By Tony Batt, Las Vegas Review-Journal Aug. 4–WASHINGTON — Rep. Jon Porter, R-Nev., on Wednesday said he intends to visit the Isle of Man near England to learn more about how the self-governing kingdom regulates Internet gambling.

- Las Vegas in Nevada owes its success to the mobster Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel who organized gaming and bookmaking operations for The Mob (the Mafia).
