Gambling addict stole folks’ cash

Hitting rock bottom and stealing cash from his parents won’t mean jail for a Calgary gambling addict, a judge ruled yesterday. Provincial court Judge Sharon Van de Veen said a long term of community supervision would be better than a short stay behind bars for Kornel Toth.
