Australia’s Tabcorp year net profit up 7 pct
SYDNEY, Aug 24 (Reuters) - Tabcorp Holdings Ltd. TAH.AX, Australia’s top wagering group, said on Thursday annual net profit rose 7 percent, helped by cost cuts, but said the start of the fiscal year had been mixed. Tabcorp, which owns four of Australia’s 13 casinos, said net profit for the year ended June 30 rose 7 percent to A$547.3 million ($417.7 million).
