Huge expansion of Indian gambling fails in California Legislature
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Pressure from labor unions on Thursday defeated six agreements between Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and casino-operating tribes that would have dramatically expanded Indian gambling in California.
