Gaming commission will begin talks on more casino licenses
JOHNSTON, Iowa (AP) — A little more than a year after approving four new casino licenses, the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission says it will begin talks next year on the possibility of issuing additional licenses.

- French mathematicians Pierre de Fermat and Blaise Pascal explored the mathematics of gambling, leading to the formulation of Pascal's theory of probability in 1654.
