Casinos may try to push their buck
Colorado’s largest casinos are considering a ballot initiative to eliminate the $5 bet limit at the state’s three gambling towns - Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek.

Gambling casinos history:
- Originally, the double-zero wheel started in Europe and the single-zero wheel started in America. But, Europeans liked the single-zero wheel better, and Americans liked the double-zero wheel better so they switched. Today, the American wheel and double-zero wheel are synonymous.

- Legal gambling operations in Washington reported $1.7 billion in net receipts in 2005: 61 percent was reported by tribal casinos, 10 percent came from the state lottery. 2 percent of responders in a February state survey said they placed bets online.
