Casino foes bring fight to island

MIDDLETOWN - Former Gov. Lincoln Almond and the Rev. Eugene J. McKenna are united in their opposition to a casino in Rhode Island, but the politician and the priest offered conflicting opinions on gambling Monday during an economic forum sponsored by the Newport County Chamber of Commerce.
