Ho-Chunk to offer more bingo machines
MADISON, Wis. More bingo for Madison. The Ho-Chunk Nation plans to add new bingo machines in an expansion at its DeJope Bingo Hall just southeast of the city. The tribe did away with paper bingo cards in June, when it began work on the expansion.Save

- U.S. News and World Report did a comparison of crime rates in cities with gambling versus those that do not. The crime rates were significantly higher in the places that allowed gambling.

- Charles Fey invented the first slot machine way back in 1895. He went on to perfect his initial innovation in 1907, when he teamed with Mills Novelty Company who manufactured the "Mills Liberty Bell".
