Andy Foundation Bingo Event

Following the roaring success of our first bingo day, The Andy Foundation will host bingo at Cluett Hall in St. Paul’s once again! Get together with some friends on March 14 (no school) between 12-2 PM for an afternoon of bingo fun, pizza, soda and a great chance to win cool prizes, all for just a $10 donation! Additional cards will be $2.

  • Bingo as we know it today is a form of lottery and is a direct descendant of Lo Giuoco del Lotto d'Italia - the Italian National Lottery organized in 1530.
  • In 1978, New Jersey became the second state to legalize casino gambling in an attempt to revitalize the rundown resort area of Atlantic City. The legalization was restricted only to Atlantic City.
  • Massachusetts decriminalized bingo in 1931 in an attempt to help churches and charitable organizations raise money. Bingo was legal in 11 states by the 1950s, usually only for charity purposes.
