Lithuanian group is fined $16,000 for allowing smoking during bingo games
PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County fined a cultural organization $16,250 for violating the new smoking ban during bingo games, the first such penalty since the law took effect this year.

- In 1978, New Jersey became the second state to legalize casino gambling in an attempt to revitalize the rundown resort area of Atlantic City. The legalization was restricted only to Atlantic City.
