Supporters rejoice after Senate approves gambling package
The Unified Government is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and local supporters of increased gambling in Wyandotte County received the best possible anniversary gift in the early morning hours Thursday when the Kansas Senate approved a long-awaited gambling bill.
