Ameristar to acquire Resorts East Chicago casino for $675 million
Las Vegas-based Ameristar Casinos Inc., saying it wants to participate in the currently “underserved” Chicago-area gambling market, said Wednesday it has agreed to pay $675 million to acquire the Resorts East Chicago casino in East Chicago, Ind.
