Australian JV to Ante Up $1.2B For Canadian Casinos
Publishing & Broadcasting Ltd. (PBL) of Sydney and Macquarie Bank Ltd. have formed a 50/50 joint venture that will offer U.S.$1.2 billion (C$1.37 billion) for the outstanding units and convertible debentures of the Gateway Casinos Income Fund in Burnaby, British Columbia, according to a report by Bloomberg News this morning.
