Panel OKs bill to allow electronic gambling
MONTGOMERY - A committee approved legislation on Wednesday aimed at allowing electronic gambling at the Birmingham and Mobile dog tracks. Track officials said the new games would prop up the faltering tracks and could be the first step in bringing horse racing back to Birmingham.
