City Council says court has no business putting off Philly slots vote
HARRISBURG, Pa. Lawyers for Philadelphia City Council say a planned vote on where slot-machine casinos can build in the city has no business being challenged in the state’s highest court.

Gambling casinos history:
- The first World Series of Poker was held in downtown Las Vegas at the Horseshoe Casino back in 1970.
