Tribe targets casino adversaries, legislator says

SACRAMENTO — One of California’s richest Indian tribes has signaled that if legislators fail to pass a sweeping expansion of Indian casino gambling, it will spend millions of dollars to kill a February ballot measure that would extend legislative terms, , a key lawmaker said.
