Land deal pitched as Mass. casino site
BOSTON (AP) — The financial backers of the Mashpee Wampanoag Indians agreed yesterday to purchase 125 acres of land — possibly for a casino — from the southeastern Massachusetts town of Middleborough, a town official said.
