Comcast buys FSN sports network stakes from Cablevision for 570 mln usd
Comcast, which is the largest cable operator in the US, said it bought the 60 pct stake in FSN Bay Area and 50 pct holding in FSN New England from Cablevision unit Rainbow Media Holdings LLC. Upon completion, Comcast said it will own 100 pct of FSN New England and 60 pct of FSN Bay Area, with the remaining 40 pct still owned by an affiliate of News Corp.
