Crist: Gambling and property-tax cuts make poor mix
TALLAHASSEE — Gov. Charlie Crist Tuesday frowned on an idea floated by House Republicans this week to expand video gambling as a way to pay for property tax relief.

- The name blackjack came from an early bet (since discontinued) that paid 10 to 1 if the player got a jack of spades and an ace of spades, both black cards, as the first two cards.
