Smooth talking Robert Eon Marshall (58) of Fort Worth Texas will be a guest of the state correctional system following his sentence this week to 10 years imprisonment for an Internet gambling-related scam that disadvantaged 41 mainly elderly and retired victims.

Over eight months ago, the then CEO of Betonsports, David Carruthers was arrested in the USA whilst connecting to Costa Rica on a flight from London. Alleged by the US Department of Justice to have committed a number of offences related to his position as an executive at the betting group, Carruthers was detained, fired by his company and then allowed out on heavy bail on condition that he wears an electronic tracking device and remains on house arrest within the environs of St. Louis until his trial.
