Back in 2004, Jeff Gordon edged out Dale Earnhardt, Jr. to win the Talladega 500 (thats what it will always be to me). For those who watch NASCAR, you know that the 140,000 plus fans at Talladega feel that Earnhardt senior, who is now deceased, owned that particular race.
