ABC bets on ‘Bingo Night’

A ditty about a farmer and his dog won’t be the theme song when ABC launches “National Bingo Night” at 9 tonight as a summer series getting an early start. The show’s music is mostly souped-up sound effects used to build some suspense, even though “B-I-N-G-O” would have been a catchier tune.
