JAMUL, May 19 (UNION-TRIBUNE): More than two months after evicting longtime residents of its reservation and announcing it was scaling down its casino plans, the Jamul Indian Village tribe says its gambling hall is still more than a year away. The tribe this week began tearing down trees, picking up debris and placing silt fencing and straw on its reservation in preparation to clear the land.
