There is big news on the future of gambling here in Massachusetts. A casino is one step closer to reality in the town of Middleboro. A spokesperson for the tribe is confirming that selectmen in the town of Middleboro are willing to support plans for a casino. BATON ROUGE The Senate voted 27-10 to stop the growth of video bingo by prohibiting the use of the machines that more closely resemble video draw poker or slot machines.
