A MUM was last night celebrating becoming Britain’s first bingo club millionaire. Margaret Shearer’s numbers came up just three weeks after she lost her job - and thanks to new laws which have allowed the monster jackpots in clubs.

The machines maintained their enormous popularity until just before World War I.
