A Walker County volunteer fire department has filed suit contending it hasn’t gotten all the money it should from charity bingo.

BOSTON - Gov. Deval L. Patrick said yesterday that he plans to file legislation next week to establish casino resorts in Western Massachusetts and two other parts of the state, and that it will include language calling for local approval of the gambling halls.
