Police force tries to eliminate illegal gambling machines
When lawmakers this year passed the state’s first major expansion of gambling since the original casino law of 1993, they predicted that ultimately the state would have fewer gambling machines, not more of them.

1971: Female card dealers begin working on the Strip for the first time. - By the 1370s, playing cards had reached Europe in a form that is recognizable today, with a pack consisting of 52 cards with suits of swords, polo-sticks, cups and coins.
