Rank rejects asset swap move by US gaming rival - report
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Rank Group PLC, the casino and bingo operator, has rejected a proposal from Harrah’s Entertainment, the owner of Caesars Palace casino, that would have seen the Las Vegas-based company sell a significant portion of London Clubs International to Rank in return for a stake of around 28 pct, the Sunday Telegraph reported, citing people familiar with the discussions.
