Ameristar Casinos Posts Steep Drop in 4th-Quarter Profit As Expenses Offset Revenue Growth
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Hotel and casino operator Ameristar Casinos Inc. said Wednesday its fourth-quarter profit fell by more than half, as revenue growth was offset by charges related to the opening of new facilities, acquisitions and other items.
