State Teachers Back Slots

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Maryland’s largest teachers’ union is now backing slot machine gambling across the state. The Maryland State Teachers Association voted Friday night to support the November referendum. A spokesman for the group said in the past the board has not taken a position on the issue.
