NORTHWOOD, Iowa — State gambling regulators said these are challenging times for the Iowa casino industry. Gaming revenues at Iowa’s casinos were up only slightly in 2007.?Officials said a souring economy, higher gas and food costs and a stretch of bad weather put a damper on the numbers.
