Crackdown on electronic bingo begins
SACRAMENTO More than 20 years after the state first warned that electronic bingo games are illegal, Attorney General Jerry Brown has launched a crackdown to halt a proliferation of the machines.

- Parimutuel wagering refers to the type of gambling where the total prize pool is based upon the amount of money wagered. The more money gambled, the bigger the prize.
