More than 1,000 Thais arrested for betting on Euro 2008: police
BANGKOK - MORE than 1,000 people have been arrested in Thailand for gambling on Euro 2008 football matches, with nearly one million baht (S$40,719) in cash seized, police said on Tuesday.
