Wednesday, July 02, 2008 at 5:50 p.m. A group pushing to legalize casinos in Ohio was in Maumee in Wednesday, trying to up their odds of winning. The group, MyOhioNow.com , says building a resort could mean 5,000 jobs and $240 million in tax revenue.

A Nederland Internet cafe is no longer open for business after law enforcement executed search warrants in reference to online gambling. Two men were arrested during the operation Wednesday afternoon.

Federal and local agents are raiding what they call an illegal internet gambling operation in Nederland. The Internet Cafe is located in the 2000 block of Nederland Avenue.
