Ontario vies for Vegas-style sports bets
TORONTO, July 3 (UPI) — The provincial government of Ontario is pushing the Canadian federal government to allow Las Vegas-style sports betting in casinos, the Toronto Star reported.

Interesting gambling facts:
- The first recorded betting games were played with marked disks or bones (the forerunners of dice), and spinning wheels or shields.
