Foxy Bingo to launch £10m TV campaign
Foxy Bingo, the Cashcade Group-owned gaming brand, is launching a £10m TV advertising campaign this month to promote its £1m a month giveaway, its biggest promotion to date. It will also run a red-button interactive game show, The Foxy Bingo Show, on satellite.

- Bingo as we know it today is a form of lottery and is a direct descendant of Lo Giuoco del Lotto d'Italia - the Italian National Lottery organized in 1530.
- Video Poker machines were introduced in the 1970s, when an oil embargo had a negative impact on Vegas revenues. The machines were popular enough to spark a recovery in casino business.
- Legal gambling operations in Washington reported $1.7 billion in net receipts in 2005: 61 percent was reported by tribal casinos, 10 percent came from the state lottery. 2 percent of responders in a February state survey said they placed bets online.
- Riverboat casinos were first legalized in Iowa, then Illinois, followed closely by Missouri, Indiana, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
