Ameristar Casinos to offer $500M in notes

Casino operator Ameristar Casinos Inc. on Friday said it will offer $500 million in senior unsecured notes due 2014. The Las Vegas-based company plans to use proceeds to prepay and permanently retire part of revolving loans outstanding under its senior secured credit facility.
