Casinos hit with fines for underage gamblers
ST. CHARLES — Missouri casinos have seen a rash of underage gamblers since identification requirements changed as part of Proposition A last fall. And on Wednesday, the Missouri Gaming Commission made two of the states biggest casino companies pay for it.

- 1905: The town of Las Vegas is founded when the San Pedro, Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company holds a land auction at the site on May 15.
